THE DISTRICT ROTARACT REPRESENTATIVE’S JULY ADDRESS

Dear Rotaractors, Friends, and Builders of Tomorrow,
As we open the first chapter of a new Rotary year, I invite us not merely to celebrate but to recommit to something bigger than our clubs. Bigger than our pins or badges. Bigger even than ourselves.
I am deeply honored to serve as your District Rotaract Representative for 2025–2026. This role is not about leading from above, but standing beside you, where change truly begins.
Let this Rotary year be defined by five bold imperatives:
- Impact Over Optics: Don’t do it for applause—do it for alignment. Let our projects speak the language of purpose: targeted, inclusive, sustainable. Ask not what can we do, but whose life can we transform?
- Support the Rotary Foundation: This isn’t just a fund, it’s our faith in the future. Let every Rotaractor give what they can. Because small seeds, sown together, make forests of change.
- Grow to Serve: We don’t expand for numbers. We grow to multiply impact. I ask that, we invite new members, form new clubs, and discover new leaders in our respective clubs. Service should never be a secret.
- Elevate the Experience: I ask that we make Rotaract a space of growth, healing, and discovery. From mental health check-ins to skill-building forums, let your clubs be where people rise.
- Lead with Grace and Grit: To our club leaders- you are not just guides, you are gardeners. Nurture your people. Inspire through service. Your year is a seed. Plant with vision, lead with heart.
This Month’s Milestones:
• July 1st – First Day in Office & Visit to the District Governor
• July 5th – District Governor’s Installation
• July 13th – District Medical Outreach
• DRR Visitations – Official visits to KingFarm, Ikoyi, and Surulere South Clubs.
To all leaders, the district’s goals are clear—impact, integrity, and inclusiveness. Your office is your canvas. Lead not for likes, but for legacy. You’re not filling a seat; you’re shaping the future.
As I bring my first address to you to an end, be reminded that impact isn’t accidental—it’s intentional, consistent, and deeply human.
Happy New Rotary Year. Let’s make it count.
Yours in Rotary service ,
Rtr. Atitebi Ismail Abiodun
District Rotaract Representative
Rotaract District 9112 (2025–2026)
